TIFF, CNE, BBQs...The Summer Acronyms. Enjoy The Last Days of Summer! Happy Labour Day Long Weekend.
Toronto just experienced the warmest August on record. Two major events marks the unofficial end of Summer, and the beginning of Fall. CNE is a reminder that summer is about to end, as TIFF hails in the back to school season.
This Summer, I participated in a number of outdoor film screenings in different neighbourhood parks. The one that I enjoyed most is the Christie Pits Film Festival. This is the festival's 5th year with a series of well curated films from cult classics to film noir to more recent releases drawing a crowd with diverse interest. The warm months are ideal for taking it all in at a slower pace, exploring different neighbourhoods, local businesses, events and connecting with your neighbours.
However, August had no slow down in real estate for multiple offer scenarios. Buyers who have not yet secured a purchase this summer may experience the spillover effect in the coming Fall market. If you are thinking of buying this Fall, find out the key tips to help you compete with confidence in a multiple offer situation. We will be hosting a 1-hour Exclusive Buyer Workshop at Blue Elephant Realty on September 13th. We will touch on the best value Toronto neighbourhoods for buying, as well as the latest market update and trends. RSVP (https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/exclusive-buyers-workshop-presented-by-anne-lok-blue-elephant-realty-tickets-26784899355) and drop in for some wine and cheese. Have a great September!
